Floating Support Assistant required for Tenancy Sustainment post in Hackney Your new company You will be working for a leading provider of housing, care and support services based across the South of England . Your new role As a Floating Support Worker your main responsibility will be to provide practical and emotional support to vulnerable people to help them sustain their tenancies and lives in the community, monitoring their wellbeing and referring onto more specialist staff where required . The role will require signposting to specialist agencies and offering assistance with budgeting and housing legislation. You will be dealing with a mixed client group, including low needs mental health, young people, ex-offenders and recently homeless. What you'll need to succeed You will need previous experience working with vulnerable adults and understand the issues affecting them and have worked in (ideally) a Floating based role before, although there is flexibility on this. You will also require your own transport and need to be sufficient at using Microsoft packages and excellent team work skills, demonstrating both collaboration and respect with peers and customers.
